They can be less expensive than an organized event, especially if you’re on a budget, they can
be tailormade with a theme, you control the number of guests with no gate crashers. Keeping
your numbers tight is important to keep to the budget you have decided. You can’t run out of
food at a kid’s party!
 
CHOOSING YOUR THEME
Kids aged 3-8 years may like something with soft toys, making butterflies or being creative
with playdoh, blowing bubbles or games like jumping on a chair or beanbag when the music
stops.
 
Kids 6-10 might be more interested in a dressing up theme such as Pirates, Princesses,
Dinosaurs, Fairies, cowboys & Indians, Harry Potter, or a less expensive option could be
fancy dress with whatever is in the wardrobe.

CONTROLLING NUMBERS

sit at the food table together, no walking around with food and drinks. About 12-15 guests is
