The days of the ice cream man cruising the neighborhood are pretty much gone. While there are still some trucks that do neighborhood routes, the majority of ice cream trucks now cater. Kids today are inside the a/c playing video games or watching their favorite tic toc videos. Many cities have ordinances prohibiting the use of the classic ice cream man music box to play that familiar music. Gas prices and insurance prices have skyrocketed making neighborhood routes less profitable.
